How we work

the method, step by step
  1. Concept

    • Moodboard: images and examples of materials, atmospheres and furniture.
    • Digital measured survey of the space, including the positions of light sources, electrical fittings, water supply and drainage points.
    • Definition of the layout and zoning of the rooms.
    • Preliminary proposal for bespoke furniture, where it is needed.
    • Preliminary proposal for catalogue furniture, which does not require construction details from the designer.
    • Preliminary proposal for ceramic finishes, flooring, decorative paint finishes and claddings (timber panels, fluted panels, etc.), and a preliminary selection of light fittings.
    • Preliminary proposal for decorative and styling objects.
    • Preliminary proposal for sanitaryware and taps in the bathrooms and the kitchen.
    • Delivery of the concept-stage deliverables: floor plans with the furniture layout and overall dimensions, elevations of the furniture pieces, a flooring plan marking the finishes specific to each room, BIMx - an explorable 3D model of the fit-out proposal, and photorealistic renderings.
  2. Technical design and construction details (P.Th. and D.d.E.)

    • Final proposal for bespoke furniture, where it is needed (walk-in wardrobe, kitchen, hallway, etc.), and the construction details of the furniture (plan, section, elevations, axonometrics, etc.).
    • Final proposal for catalogue furniture, which does not require construction details from the designer, and a cost estimate with options for each piece.
    • Final proposal for ceramic finishes, flooring, decorative paint finishes and claddings (timber panels, fluted panels, ceramics, etc.), the final selection of light fittings, the list of required finished surfaces, and setting-out drawings with elevations, plans and sections.
